“There’s hate in my heart and I want to clean it out. If that’s the authentic me it’s time to reinvent:
There’s blood on my hands that I wish wasn’t there,
black in my soul and dirt in my hair.
There’s a time to change and that’s authentic you see,
Because I’m sick and tired of just being “me.”
Change is healthy and renewing is good.
Find some friends to force what I should
Be doing to better the life I have left,
If I hold onto hate I’ll die bereft.
So here’s to authentic, ever changing, and true,
The real people find it because that’s what we do.”
